Tech Tribes strengthens Open Source ambitions with specialist Xifeo.
Fantastic news for the open source community! Tech Tribes has announced that Xifeo will join the IT service provider as of July 12th.
Together with HCS Company and Kangaroot, which joined the Tech Tribes collective in May, they form a powerful partnership with extensive knowledge and experience in the world of Open Source. Combined with the companies Axxes and Euricom, two major players in the Belgian market in the field of business consulting and software engineering, the Tech Tribes collective has become a strong player within the Low Countries. A refreshing and full-fledged alternative to traditional "system integrators".
With the addition of Xifeo, the Tech Tribes collective now consists of five Tribes, totaling more than 700 digital specialists. Each Tribe has and maintains its own culture and technological focus. Together, they share a vision of how they interact with people and how they help their clients. Tech Tribes has six locations in the Low Countries, ensuring that its customers and colleagues are always close by. Customers can expect expertise in areas such as Business Technology Consulting, Software Engineering & Testing, and Open Hybrid Platforms.
Xifeo is an organization with over 30 professionals from Almere who focus on modernizing infrastructure and supporting developers and (data) engineers. With over 75 consultants, HCS Company specializes in hybrid platform implementations and full standardization and automation of infrastructure. Together, these companies strengthen each other's ambitions and mission. But best of all: both recognize themselves in the same core values and culture: delivering quality with a smile.

According to Marko Seunninga, Managing Director of Tech Tribes Netherlands, the arrival of Xifeo seamlessly fits with the dream of being an alternative to the established order. "We all know that things need to be done differently in IT, but breaking habits is difficult," he said. "We see our no-nonsense approach and the use of open-source technology as a powerful response to many of today's struggles. With the arrival of Xifeo, we are one step closer to realizing this dream."
"The collaboration with open-source specialists from Xifeo offers HCS Company great opportunities for knowledge development and joint customer approach," said Karen van Diepen, Director of HCS Company. "With our shared open-source mission and diversity of experts, we can better serve our customers and provide innovative solutions that meet the challenges of today and tomorrow."
Peter Vader, CEO of Xifeo, is also very enthusiastic about the collaboration: "We can now offer more growth opportunities to colleagues from both organizations who want to develop more broadly." This collaboration promises a lot of good for all customers within Tech Tribes. Xifeo brings additional expertise in infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix) and Microsoft engineering. In addition to the open-source service provider Kangaroot in Belgium, the reinforcement with Xifeo in the Netherlands is a valuable addition to the total open-source portfolio.
Tech Tribes in the Netherlands has acquired all the shares of Xifeo and can now be considered the largest specialized open-source IT service provider in the Netherlands with more than 120 professionals.
